What Is The Alzheimer's with Agitation Study?
Alzheimer’s dementia-related agitation can be stressful for patients and their loved ones. In this study, patients with agitation linked to Alzheimer’s disease will receive either an investigational drug or a placebo. This investigational medication is being tested to see if it can safely and effectively control agitation in people with Alzheimer’s dementia. The eligible trial participants will be grouped into two and receive investigational medicine combined with careful medical ratings. The participant’s study partner will attend some research visits and execute crucial study procedures as well.

The Alzheimer’s with Agitation Study
- Our medical experts are conducting a new research study on Alzheimer’s dementia in southwest Florida. We reimburse volunteers who take part in our studies for their travel and time expenses. Research study volunteers are divided into groups that will receive either the investigational medicine or a placebo. A potential volunteer must meet the following requirements to be eligible for this agitation study:
- Aged between 55 and 90 years old
- Have been given a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease
- Have agitation that interferes with daily life
- Have a caregiver who spends at least 2 hours a day, 4 days a week with the patient
