Depression Study
Advancing Health and Medicine Through Clinical Research Trials
With our latest clinical trials and comprehensive medical research, we aim to help people experiencing major depression.
What Is the NMRA Major Depressive Disorder Study?
To evaluate the efficacy of 80 mg/day of a new investigative medicine relative to placebo on symptoms of depression in adult participants with major depressive disorder (MDD) following 6 weeks of double-blind treatment.

Major Depression Study
The primary objective of a depression clinical trial is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a new treatment or intervention in alleviating the symptoms of depression. Researchers aim to determine whether the investigational therapy can effectively reduce the severity of depressive episodes, improve mood, and enhance the overall quality of life for individuals suffering from depression. By conducting rigorous clinical trials, researchers can gather crucial data to support the development of more effective and evidence-based treatments, ultimately benefiting those affected by this debilitating mental health condition.
- Participants must:
- Be between 18 and 65 years of age
- Have a probable diagnosis of MDD--we will evaluate on site
- Be in a cirrent MD episode at least 4 weeks, no longer than a year
- Be willing to use contraception
